Alisha Hymel

Administrative Coordinator

Alisha joined The Learning and Development Center of Excellence - HR Team in August 2015. She has 17 years of human resources experience including recruiting, training, diversity program development, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and payroll.

Recently employed as Administrator Coordinator at The LDC, she is responsible for technical support and maintaining the Talent Management System where her responsibilities include handling the day-to-day inquires and maintenance tasks associated with the Talent Management System (TMS), including responding to queries and requests.

During her prior tenure with The City of Houston, Alisha developed, participated and implemented various projects including HR compliance audits, handbook development and training. In addition, she participated in internal projects regarding quality and process improvement.

Alisha has also held human resources positions with Halliburton Energy Services, BP of America, and the New Orleans Public School System. Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, she attended Southern University of New Orleans until she relocated to Houston, TX after the wake of Hurricane Katrina where she continued and received her degree in Business from American Intercontinental University.
