Sr. Staff Analyst, OD & Auxiliary Services

Marie is a results-driven, innovative visionary with experience in project management, policy development, program development, training and financial reporting. As Sr. Staff Analyst, Marie functions as an internal consultant and oversees organizational development efforts city-wide. She is also responsible for the management and oversight of Auxiliary Services, including strategic partnerships, procurement operations and budget management.


Multifaceted

Marie is a two-time graduate of Southern University and A & M College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration. Marie also holds a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She is a recipient of the Human Resources Management Certificate of Achievement from Rice University’s Institute for Human Resource Education. She is also a proud graduate of the Leadership Institute Program (LIP) for the City of Houston. In addition, Marie is an active member of the Houston Organizational Development Network (HODN) and the Houston Association for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (HAIOP).

Revolutionary

Marie is passionate about seeking opportunities that contribute to the betterment of human capital. Her areas of focus include organizational development, performance management and workforce planning. Marie places high value on service quality, organizational viability, continuous improvement and strategic planning. She believes that the world of work is ever changing. Whether it is evolution or revolution, there is always a more efficient way of doing things.
